Village of Hudson Falls, NY Article III Restrictions on Water Usage

§ 209-9 Restrictions on water usage; penalties for offenses.

A. In the event that the Town of Queensbury imposes or adopts water usage restrictions applicable in the Queensbury Consolidated Water District, the very same restrictions imposed or adopted by the Town of Queensbury shall apply to all water users within the Village as well as to any water users outside the Village that the Village supplies water to.

B. Violations of water usage restrictions shall be enforced by the Village of Hudson Falls.

C. Any person who violates any such water usage restriction shall, upon conviction thereof, be subject to a fine of $500 per violation. Each day for which a violation continues shall be considered a separate violation.

§ 209-10 When effective.

This article shall become effective at such time when the Village of Hudson Falls interconnects with the Queensbury Consolidated Water District and upon filing with the Secretary of State.
