Borough of Tullytown, PA Article IV Electric Standards

§ 65-11 Adoption of National Electric Code (2009) and 2009 Edition of the ICC Electrical Code - Administrative Provisions.

A certain document, one copy of which is on file in the office of the Borough Secretary of the Borough of Tullytown, being marked and designated 2009 National Electrical Code (National Fire Protection Association Standard 70 - NFPA - 70) and the 2009 Edition of the ICC Electrical Code - Administrative Provisions, published by the International Code Council, are hereby adopted as the code of the Borough of Tullytown for regulating the design construction, quality of materials, erection, installation, alteration, repair, location, relocation, replacement, addition to, use or maintenance of electrical systems in Tullytown Borough and providing for the issuance of permits and collection of fees therefor; and each and all of the regulations, provisions, conditions and terms of such 2009 National Electrical Code (National Fire Protection Association Standard 70 - NFPA - 70) and the ICC Electrical Code - Administrative Provisions, 2009 Edition, published by the International Code Council, on file in the office of Tullytown Borough are hereby referred to, adopted and made a part hereof as if fully set out in this article, with the additions, insertions, deletions and changes, if any, prescribed in § 65-12 of this article, as amendment to Tullytown Code § 65-11 et seq.

§ 65-12 Amendments made to International Electrical Code (2009).

The ICC Electrical Code - Administrative Provisions (2009 edition) are hereby revised as follows:

A. Section 101.1 Insert: "Tullytown Borough."

§ 65-13 Construal of provisions.

Nothing in this article or in the Electrical Code hereby adopted shall be construed to affect any suit or proceeding pending in court, or any rights acquired, or any cause or causes of action acquired or existing, under any act or ordinance hereby repealed; nor shall any just or legal right or remedy of any character be lost, impaired or affected by this article.
