As used in this article, the following terms shall have the meanings
indicated:
TRAFFIC HAZARD
Any tree, plant, shrub or similar obstruction which obstructs the
view of any driver.
When any Borough department, on the basis of an investigation, determines
that a traffic hazard exists, it shall notify the owner and order the hazard
removed within 10 days.
In emergency situations, when insufficient time exists to permit the
removal of the traffic hazard by the property owner, the Borough may remove
the traffic hazard and impose the costs on the property owner and collect
said costs as permitted by law.
The failure of an owner to remove a traffic hazard within 10 days after the notice set forth in §
110-2, above, shall be a summary offense punishable by a fine of $25. Every day that a violation of this article continues shall constitute a separate offense.

passage of any pedestrian.
When any Borough department, on the basis of an investigation, determines
that a pedestrian hazard exists, it shall notify the owner and order the hazard
removed within 10 days.
In emergency situations, when insufficient time exists to permit the
removal of the pedestrian hazard by the property owner, the Borough may remove
the pedestrian hazard and impose the costs on the property owner and collect
said costs as permitted by law.
The failure of an owner to remove a pedestrian hazard within 10 days after the notice set forth in §
110-6 above shall be summary offense punishable by a fine of $25. Every day that a violation of this article continues shall constitute a separate offense.
