GENERAL REFERENCES
Solid waste — See Ch. 148.
As used in this chapter, the following terms shall have the meanings indicated:
HIGH-LEVEL NUCLEAR WASTES
A. 
Irradiated nuclear reactor fuel.
B. 
Liquid waste from operation of the first cycle solvent extraction system and the concentrated waste from subsequent extraction cycles or their equivalent in a facility for reprocessing irradiated reactor fuel.
C. 
Solids into which such wastes have been converted.[1]

No person may transport within Kent County any high-level nuclear wastes without giving twenty-four (24) hours' notice to the Sheriff and the Director of Emergency Management.

Any person violating the provisions of this chapter is subject to a fine of not less than one hundred dollars ($100.) nor more than one thousand ($1,000.00) dollars or imprisonment of not more than six (6) months, or both such fine and imprisonment.
