For the purposes of this ordinance, the following words and phrases
shall have the meanings ascribed to them in this section:
A sewage disposal system, other than a public or community system,
which receives either human excreta or liquid waste, or both, from one or
more premises. Included within the scope of this definition are septic tank
soil absorption systems, privies and chemical-type toilets, and such other
types as may be prescribed in regulations.
A written "permit" issued by the "Sanitary Officer," permitting the
construction of an "individual sewage disposal system" under this ordinance.
Any institution, public or private corporation, individual, partnership
or other entity.
The legally designated authority of the Township of Palmer or his
authorized representative.
