City of Scranton, PA Article VII Attorney Fees

§ 226-11 Statutory authority; schedule of fees.

In accordance with Act 1996-1,[1] the City of Scranton hereby adopts the following schedule of attorney fees for municipal claims:

A. In instances where the claims are collected by attorneys in the full-time employment of the City of Scranton, a fee of $44 per hour shall be assessed for all work and added to the claim.

B. In instances where attorneys are retained as independent contractors to collect municipal claims, a charge of $125 per hour shall be assessed for all work and added to the claim, and such $125 per hour shall be the full compensation to be paid to said independent contractor for the collection of municipal claims.
