The Mayor shall be the presiding officer of the municipality and shall
have those powers and duties as provided by the Second Class Township Code[1] for the Chairman of the Board.
A.
The Mayor shall sign such documents as designated by
Council and perform any other duties requested by Council.
B.
The Mayor shall appoint Councilmen to be representatives
to the various Commissions and Boards; they will then report back to Council
on the functions of each Board or Commission.
