For the purposes herein, the following terms shall have the meanings
indicated:
The rider or operator of a bicycle, moped, minibike, motorbike, motor
scooter or go-cart on any street, alley or property of the City of Crisfield
shall have said vehicle under proper control at all times and shall not operate
at a rate of speed greater than is reasonable and proper and shall not use
the streets, alleys or property so as to endanger the person or property of
another. All operators aforesaid shall at all times comply with all other
traffic laws and regulations of the city and the State of Maryland.

It shall be unlawful for any person to ride or operate any bicycle,
moped, minibike, motorbike, motor scooter, go-cart or skateboard on or over
public sidewalks of the city, except where curblines have been cut for the
purpose of vehicular access to abutting property and there only for said purpose.
This also includes the City Dock and the property owned by the City of Crisfield
known as the "CPI" Factory. This section shall not apply in any area of the
city zoned residential.

Violation of this chapter shall be declared to be a municipal infraction.
The penalty for violation shall be $10 for each initial offense.
