It shall be unlawful for any person or persons, firm or, corporation to raise or maintain chickens in the excess of 25 in number for commercial purposes within the corporate limits of Crisfield, Maryland, closer than 150 feet to any dwelling or store.

The keeping of cattle, horses, swine, sheep and goats within the City of Crisfield is prohibited.
This chapter shall not apply to any person or persons, firm or corporation who is, at the time of the passage of this chapter, maintaining, keeping and raising chickens for a commercial purpose.

All stables and stable yards shall be kept in a clean and sanitary condition at all times, and no manure shall be allowed to accumulate in the stable or stable yards.

Violation of this chapter shall be deemed to be an infraction. The penalty for violation shall be $25 for each initial offense and $50 for each repeat offense.
