[Adopted 6-12-1995 by L.L. No. 3-1995]
The Town of Cobleskill hereby adopts by this
article new Subdivision 5(a) of § 458 of the Real Property
Tax Law relating to increasing the eligible funds exemptions of veterans
in direct proportion to the change in level of assessment brought
about by a revaluation or update of assessments.
The Town of Cobleskill hereby adopts by this
article new Subdivision 5(b) of § 458 of the Real Property
Tax Law, permitting veterans who previously changed from the eligible
funds exemption to the alternative veteran's exemption to switch back
to the eligible funds exemption and receive the change in level of
assessment if applied for within one year from the effective date
of this article.
