[HISTORY: Adopted by the Board of Supervisors of the Township of Chartiers 6-1-1990 by Ord. No. 186. Amendments noted where applicable.]
The owner of each structure situated in Chartiers Township that has been assigned a street number and/or box number shall cause that assigned number to be displayed on each structure so that said number can be easily observed from the public road.
Each owner of each structure shall cause the assigned street number to be displayed within 90 days from the effective date of this chapter.

Any owner who fails to comply with the provisions of Ordinance No. 186 shall be notified in writing by the Township, or its agents, of a violation of said ordinance. Said notice shall inform the owner of the violation and the steps to be taken to comply with the ordinance. The notice shall also inform the owner that compliance must occur within 10 days of said notice, otherwise a citation will be issued.

Any owner who receives the notice, as set forth in § 222-3, must comply with Ordinance No. 186 within 10 days of the receipt of said notice. If any owner fails to comply with said ordinance after the expiration of the 10 days, then that owner shall be issued a citation by the Township or its agents.

Upon conviction by a Magisterial District Judge, an owner shall be fined as follows:
A. 
For a first conviction, a fine of $50, plus costs.
B. 
For a second conviction, a fine of $100, plus costs.
C. 
For a third conviction, a fine of $150, plus costs.
