A chart or map shall be maintained in the office of the Town Council of Bethany Beach showing the proper assigned street number, which shall be open for inspection by any citizen of the Town of Bethany Beach.

It shall be the duty of owners or occupants of every building or structure located within the corporate limits of the Town of Bethany Beach to place or cause to be placed thereon, in a place and manner visible from the street, numbers which shall be not less than four inches high showing the street number of the building or structure. Such numbers shall be in place within one year of the date of promulgation of assigned numbers by the Town of Bethany Beach.
A. 
Any person violating any section of this chapter shall be deemed guilty of a violation and, upon conviction thereof, shall pay such fines as set out in Chapter 1, General Provisions, Article I, Penalties.

B. 
For the purposes of this chapter, each day that a violation continues shall be deemed to be a separate offense.
