A. 
Every retail business, with the exception of permitted cannabis retail establishments and alternative treatment centers, located less than 200 feet from a residential zone, including any establishment, enterprise or business that sells to the general public goods, merchandise, food (including retail food establishments, restaurants, fast food, etc.) or material, automotive fuel, motor oil, goods and services which are generic to filling and service stations, places of public entertainment, bowling alleys and motion-picture establishments, within the Township of Bloomfield shall be closed to the public and business with the public therein shall be and is hereby prohibited after the hour of 12:00 midnight and before the hour of 6:00 a.m. of any day.
B. 
No cannabis retail establishment shall sell or deliver or allow, permit, or suffer the sale of any cannabis items and related supplies at retail or allow, permit or suffer the removal of any cannabis items and related supplies from a retail licensed premises on Sunday before 12:00 noon or after 5:00 p.m. or before 9:00 a.m., or after 9:00 p.m. on any other day of the week. If Christmas Day or New Year's Day falls on a Monday, the sale of any cannabis items and related supplies for off-premises consumption from a retail licensed premises shall be permitted on the preceding Sunday from 9:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m.
C. 
No alternative treatment centers shall be open to the public and business with the public therein is hereby prohibited on Sunday before 10:00 a.m. or after 5:00 p.m., or before 7:00 a.m. or after 9:00 p.m. on any other day of the week.

A. 
The provisions of this article shall not apply to businesses located greater than 200 feet from a residential zone, provided that the following conditions are met:
(1) 
Two employees must be present at all times in the part of the establishments in which the public is invited.
(2) 
Each establishment must be equipped with a burglarproof safe.
(3) 
Each employee must have access to a telephone on the premises in case of emergency.
(4) 
Each establishment must hang a sign in a visible place that indicates that an employee does not have access to the burglarproof safe and does not carry more than $50 in cash on their person.
B. 
The distance of 200 feet provided herein shall be measured in the same manner as measurements are made for the serving of notices in relation to applications for variances as prescribed in Chapter 315, Land Development and Zoning.
C. 
Any commercial establishment operating on a twenty-four-hour basis and having so operated in such a manner prior to the effective date hereof shall be exempt from the conditions set forth herein.

Any person who violates any provision of this article shall, upon conviction thereof, be punished by a penalty as provided in § 1-15, General penalty, of this Code.
