Any unoccupied vehicle parked or standing in
violation of this article shall be deemed a nuisance and a menace
to the safe and proper regulation of traffic, and any peace officer
may provide for the removal of such vehicle. The owner shall pay the
reasonable costs of the removal and storage which may result from
such removal before regaining possession of the vehicle.
The effectiveness of this article is contingent
upon signs being erected as required by law.

A. Upon declaration of an emergency by the Essex County Sheriff's Department Office of Emergency Management or its designee, there shall be no parking on streets or sections of the following streets within the Township of Bloomfield as indicated in Schedule XXV (§
254-65).
B. Unless another penalty is expressly provided by New
Jersey statute, every person convicted of a violation of a provision
of this section or any supplement thereto shall be liable to a penalty
of not less than $42 and not more than $100 or imprisonment for a
term not exceeding 15 days, or both.
