Editor's Note: This ordinance repealed former Art. VII, Telephone Booths on Sidewalks, adopted 11-27-1973 by Ord. No. 1378 as Ch. 132, Art. I, of the 1973 Code.
From and after the passage of this article, it shall be lawful to install and maintain outdoor public telephone booths and facilities. Said booths and facilities are hereby authorized to be placed on the sidewalks between the curbs and property lines for the furnishing of telephone service to the public. The Township Council of the Township of Toms River hereby determines that said booths are necessary and desirable in the interest of public welfare.
Proper application or applications for permission to erect and maintain said booths and facilities shall be made and approved by this municipality, and said applications shall be accompanied by plans and drawings showing the exact location of the booths and facilities in this municipality.
