It shall be unlawful to erect, maintain, place or abandon any structure which encroaches upon any public street, property or improved or unimproved portion of a public right-of-way. This prohibition shall not apply to the installation and maintenance of utilities which are permitted uses in the Township.

As used in this article, the following terms shall have the meanings indicated:
Any building, ship, vessel, boat, trailer, airplane or dumpster.
Any person, firm or corporation convicted of a violation of the provisions of this article shall be subject to a fine or penalty not exceeding $2,000 or imprisonment for a term not exceeding 90 days, or both. Each day in which there is a violation shall constitute a separate and continuing violation without the necessity of an additional summons being issued.[1]
