A. 
It shall be unlawful for any person, firm or corporation to display, place, keep or store any fruit, vegetables, foodstuff or merchandise of any kind for the purpose of selling, upon any of the public streets of the City of Butler from property line to property line.
B. 
The above prohibition may, by resolution of Council, be suspended for a period not to exceed three calendar days in any one year for the purpose of special sales events.
It shall be unlawful for any person, firm or corporation to display, keep or store, for the purpose of sale, any fruits, vegetables, meat or other foodstuff on the outside of any building unless the same be so covered as to protect it from dirt, dust, flies, insects, etc.

Any person who shall violate any of the provisions of this article shall, upon conviction thereof before a District Justice, be subject to a fine of up to $300 and costs of prosecution and, in default of payment of such fine and costs, shall be subject to imprisonment in the county jail for up to 90 days.
