The office of Deputy Municipal City Clerk be
and same is hereby created in accordance with N.J.S.A. 40A:9-135.

The Deputy Municipal City Clerk shall be appointed
by the Common Council of the City of Linwood and shall serve until
such time as a successor has been duly appointed by the Common Council.
The Deputy Municipal City Clerk shall be paid
such compensation as shall be provided in the Salary Ordinance of
the City of Linwood each year.
The Deputy Municipal City Clerk shall perform
such duties and functions as directed by the Municipal Clerk of the
City of Linwood and shall be directly responsible to and under the
supervision of the Municipal Clerk.
In the event of the absence or disability of
the Municipal Clerk, the Deputy Municipal Clerk shall perform all
the functions and duties of the office of Municipal Clerk and shall
have all the powers of the Municipal Clerk during the period of the
absence or disability of the Municipal Clerk.
