This article shall be titled "Resisting or Obstructing
an Officer" and hereby supersedes 25 CFR 11.70ME.
As used in this article, the following terms
shall have the meanings indicated:
OBSTRUCTS
Includes without limitation knowingly giving false information
to the officer or knowingly placing physical evidence with intent
to mislead the officer in the performance of his or her duty, including
the service of any summons or civil process.
OFFICER
Any Menominee tribal police officer, game warden or other
bona fide peace officers acting in their official capacity.
RESIST
The offense of opposing, and endeavoring to prevent, with
or without actual force, a peace officer in the execution of a writ
or in the lawful discharge of his or her duty while making an arrest
or otherwise enforcing the peace.
