For the purpose of this article, pigeons shall be included in the term "fowl."
No fowl shall be allowed to run or fly at large and no rabbits or hares shall be allowed to run at large in the Town, but shall be confined in a suitable poultry house, pigeon house or rabbit hutch with an enclosed runway, and such coop, house or hutch shall be kept in a clean and sanitary condition and subject at all times to inspection by members of the Board of Health.
No part of such poultry house, coop or rabbit hutch shall be less than 20 feet from any dwelling house and no part of such runway shall be less than 12 feet from any dwelling house.
No fowl, rabbits or hares shall be permitted to be kept in any part of a building used for residential purposes.
No live fowl, rabbits or hares shall be kept within the Town without a permit granted by the Board of Health, which permit may be revoked at the will of the Board. Each permit shall expire on December 31 of each year.
