The purposes of this district are to provide for a variety of high-density residential housing types, including apartments, townhouses and mobile homes, in addition to providing for and regulating certain nonresidential uses permitted only by special exception. All developments in the Chester Creek Watershed must be compliant with the most recently adopted Chester Creek Stormwater Ordinance.
Land, buildings or premises shall be used by right for only one or more of the following uses:
A. 
All uses permitted by right in the R-2 Residential District.
B. 
Apartment building.
C. 
Townhouses.
D. 
Mobile homes.
E. 
Mobile home park.
The following uses shall be permitted by special exception only, subject to the applicable provisions of Articles XIX and XXIV:
A. 
Professional home office, except in apartments, subject to § 185-1904.
B. 
Family day-care home, subject to § 185-1819.
As noted in the R-1 Residential District, except for small collection facility.
Unless specifically stated otherwise, the following shall be minimum requirements:

C. 
Mobile homes and mobile home parks. All mobile homes and mobile home parks are permitted in accordance with the regulations of Article XX, Mobile Home Regulations.

Stormwater compliance. All developments in the Chester Creek Watershed must be in compliance with all applicable provisions of the most recently adopted Chester Creek Stormwater Ordinance.
