Any person, association, partnership or corporation
which engages in the operation of a slaughterhouse, fat, offal or
other rendering or reduction works or establishment will comply with
the following regulations:
A. Maintain the premises upon which the business is carried
on in a sanitary condition at all times. Floors and inside walls must
be hosed and cleaned each day and buildings whitewashed at reasonable
intervals. Pits and stalls must be kept clean and free from smell
at all times. Containers for offal and entrails must be emptied and
properly cleansed daily, and all matter, such as offal or entrails,
must be burned or disposed of by burial daily.
B. Each establishment must be equipped and provided with
a cesspool of sufficient dimensions to adequately serve its requirements.
In no case, however, shall said dimensions be less than 10 feet in
depth and 15 feet in diameter. In the event of seepage to the surface
of the ground, the cesspool must be emptied. Under no circumstance
will raw seepage be allowed to drain into any creek.

or reduction works or establishment shall be constructed within 100
feet of any street, avenue or road or within 100 feet from the boundary
line of adjoining or adjacent property.
