All fees required by this chapter shall be set by resolution of the
Town Board.
A.
Any person, firm or corporation who commits an offense
against, disobeys, neglects or refuses to comply with or resist the enforcement
of any of the provisions of this chapter shall, upon conviction, be deemed
guilty of a violation, punishable by a fine of not more than $250 or by imprisonment
for not exceeding six months, or by both such fine and imprisonment. Each
week an offense is continued shall be deemed a separate violation of this
chapter.
B.
In addition to the penalties provided above, the Town
Board may also maintain an action or proceeding in the name of the town in
a court of competent jurisdiction to compel compliance with or to restrain
by injunction the violation of this chapter.
The Town Clerk is hereby directed to forthwith file a certified copy
of this chapter with the Clerk of Jefferson County.
The Town Board may amend, supplement or change these regulations after
referral to and recommendation of the Planning Board and after a public hearing.
