Any and all Town departments are hereby authorized to charge a fee of
$15 on any checks which are tendered for municipal taxes or other charges,
but that are subsequently returned by a bank for insufficient funds or other
reason.
This fee shall be credited as departmental revenue.
Each department may require future payments made by such persons or
entities which have tendered a returned check be made in cash or by bank certified
check.
