Editor’s Note: This completion scale applies to single- or two-family residences that are new builds and have not been completed within the year of the permit. The Town’s Office of Zoning and Code Enforcement has requested to utilize the completion scale and using the completed percentage as a discount to the cost of the permit. For example, if a 4,000 square foot residence has a permit cost of $800, and, during the permit year, the project is only 68% complete, the cost of a permit renewal would decrease to 32% of the uncompleted work, which would be $256.
