The following acts are prohibited as being unlawful within the confines of Powell Stackhouse Park, and violators thereof will be subject to penalties set forth herein.
A.
Vandalism. Destroying, injuring, damaging, removing or cutting live or dead trees, shrubbery, plants or constructed improvements or attaching, fastening or erecting wires, ropes, signs or notices is prohibited.
B.
Littering. Throwing, dropping or scattering trash, food or debris is prohibited.
C.
Disorderly conduct. Loud, boisterous or contentious behavior; playing radios, tape recorders or musical instruments loudly enough to annoy persons in the vicinity; scuffling, fighting, shouting, fireworks, noisemakers; and obscene language or behavior are prohibited.
D.
Fires. No open fires are permitted for any purpose. Small charcoal grills are an exception, but hot coals must not be left unattended, and dead coals and ashes must be removed from the park.
E.
Camping. There are no provisions for overnight occupancy. No tents or other temporary shelters may be erected, even for day use.
F.
Rest Rooms. There are no comfort facilities available in Stackhouse Park. Until such facilities are available, urination and defecation within the park are prohibited.
G.
Firearms; archery; trapping. The park is closed to firearms, bows and traps, and their use is prohibited.
H.
Alcoholic beverages. Carrying open containers of alcoholic or malt beverage is prohibited, except as incidental to a meal or in the immediate vicinity of a picnic.
I.
Animals. Horseback riding is prohibited on trails designated for walking. Domestic animals must be kept under immediate control of a responsible person at all times.
J.
Automobiles. Parking is provided near each of the four main entries. Only police and emergency vehicles are permitted beyond the established parking areas. Bicycles, trail bikes, mopeds and snowmobiles are prohibited.
