[Adopted 4-17-1968 (Ch. 8 of the Grant County Ordinances)]
This article is enacted pursuant to the authorization of § 349.11(3)(c), Wis. Stats.
No vehicle shall exceed the following speed limits on the following County trunk highways:
A. 
County Trunk Highway HHH, Kieler: 25 miles per hour on County Trunk Highway HHH from the junction with U.S. Highway 151 easterly 0.7 mile.
B. 
County Trunk Highway F, Stitzer:
(1) 
Thirty miles per hour on County Trunk Highway F from the junction with County Trunk Highway E northerly 0.4 mile.
(2) 
Thirty miles per hour on County Trunk Highway E from the junction with County Trunk Highway F easterly 0.3 mile.
(3) 
Thirty miles per hour on County Trunk Highway E from the junction with County Trunk Highway F westerly 0.15 mile.
C. 
Glen Haven Area: on County Trunk Highway V from the center line of the east track of the Chicago, Burlington and Quincy Railroad southeasterly 0.3 mile, at the speed of 25 miles per hour, thence 35 miles per hour for the next 0.35 mile southeasterly.
D. 
Nelson Dewey State Park Area: 25 miles per hour on County Trunk Highway VV, beginning 0.85 mile northwesterly from the junction with State Highway 133 and continuing for 0.55 mile.
E. 
Beetown Area: 25 miles per hour on County Trunk Highway U beginning 0.3 mile east of the junction with State Trunk Highway 133 and extending 0.7 mile westerly from said point.
F. 
County Trunk Highway D, Georgetown Area: 35 miles per hour on County Trunk Highway D, beginning 0.35 mile south of the junction of the town road at the east 1/4 corner of Section 21, Town 2 North, Range 1 West, and continuing for the next 0.4 mile south.
G. 
County Trunk Highway D, Big Patch Area: 35 miles per hour on County Trunk Highway D, beginning 0.3 mile north of the junction with the town road at the center of Section 15, Town 2 North, Range 2 West, and extending north for the next 0.25 mile.
H. 
County Trunk Highway P, Brodtville Area: 35 miles per hour on County Trunk Highway P, beginning 0.1 mile east of the junction with the town road at the northwest corner of the northeast quarter (NE 1/4) of the southeast quarter (SE 1/4) of Section 35, Town 6 North, Range 6 West, and extending for 0.2 mile west from said point.
I. 
County Trunk Highway X, Wyalusing Area: 30 miles per hour on County Trunk Highway X from the bridge spanning the dry run at the entrance of the Wyalusing quarries, extending 0.7 mile southerly.
Any law enforcement officer in Grant County can issue a citation to a violator of this article. The citation shall set forth the information required by § 345.11, Wis. Stats., for moving traffic and parking ordinance violations. The District Attorney's office is authorized to handle the prosecution of any violations of this article. A violator convicted of violating this article shall pay a forfeiture plus statutory costs. The amount of the forfeiture shall equal the amount of the forfeiture set forth in Chs. 341 to 348 and 350, Wis. Stats., for the comparable state violation plus statutory costs. A violator can post a cash deposit in the amount of the forfeiture deposit set forth in the State of Wisconsin Uniform State Traffic Deposit Schedule plus statutory costs. The forfeiture cash deposit shall be the amount set forth in said schedule for the comparable state violation which was adopted under this article.
