Pursuant to the Municipal Home Rule Law, § 10, Subdivision
4(a), certain officers are authorized to issue appearance tickets as follows:

The Code Enforcement Officer of the Town of South Bristol is hereby authorized and empowered to enforce Chapter 170, Zoning, Chapter 84, Fire Prevention and Building Construction, Chapter 88, Flood Damage Prevention, Chapter 99, Junkyards, Chapter 106, Logging, and Chapter 139, Sewage Disposal, and to issue appearance tickets in respect to violations or offenses under said chapters and law.
