As used herein, the following terms shall have
the meanings indicated:
ABANDONED MOTOR VEHICLES
All motor vehicles, including passenger cars, trucks, buses,
tractors and all other motor-driven implements, which shall have had
removed from them the license plates and/or renewal stickers for the
then current registration period or which shall have been left unattended
with the intent to abandon.
GARBAGE
Waste food, waste paper materials, dead animals, or parts
thereof, and all other waste organic matter.
JUNKED MOTOR VEHICLES
All motor vehicles which have been partially or wholly dismantled,
disassembled or destroyed.
PERSON
An individual, association, copartnership or corporation;
the singular number shall include the plural.
REFUSE
All solid and liquid waste, metal, tin, cans, paper containers,
debris, fill, ashes, cinders, glass and pottery, and including junked
or abandoned motor vehicles, petroleum and chemical products and compounds.

Any person committing an offense against any
provision of this article, shall, upon conviction, be guilty of a
violation and, pursuant to the authority in the Penal Law of the State
of New York, § 80.05(4), punishable by a fine not exceeding
$5,000 or by imprisonment for not exceeding 15 days, or by both such
fine and imprisonment. The continuation of an offense shall constitute,
for each day the offense is continued, a separate and distinct violation.
