All costs and expense incident to the installation
and connection of the building sewer shall be borne by the owner.
The owner shall indemnify the District from any loss or damage that
may directly or indirectly be occasioned by the installation of the
building sewer.
No person shall make connection of roof downspouts,
exterior foundation drains, or other sources of surface runoff or
groundwater to a building sewer or building drains which in turn is
connected directly or indirectly to a public sewer.
Under no conditions will drainage from roof
drains, areaway drains, french drains, seepage drains, or sump pumps
be permitted into the building waste disposal system or into the public
sanitary sewer system.
Any septic tank, seepage pit, cesspool or combination
thereof, which will no longer be required to accept human excrement
by reason of being replaced with connection to a public sanitary sewer,
shall be declared abandoned. The tank and/or pits must be emptied
of their contents.
