Editor's Note: This local law also redesignated

It is the purpose of this article, for the safety,
health protection and general welfare of persons and property in the
Town of Williamson, to regulate traffic within the confines of Whispering
Woods Manufactured Home/Land Lease Community located at 3900 Route
104 in the Town of Williamson and designated as Tax Map numbers 65117_00_701802
(33117_07_674797) and 65117_00_654697 (33117_00_627674) as of the
time of the adoption of this article, as authorized by § 166-a
of the Vehicle and Traffic Law of the State of New York. The provisions
of this article shall apply to the parking areas and private streets,
roadways or driveways located therein.
The words and phrases used in this article shall,
for the purposes of this article, have the meanings respectively ascribed
to them by the Vehicle and Traffic Law of the State of New York.

Twenty miles per hour is hereby established
as the maximum speed at which vehicles may proceed within the confines
of Whispering Woods Manufactured Home/Land Lease Community.
No motor vehicles shall be operated or driven
within the confines of Whispering Woods Manufactured Home/Land Lease
Community without first being registered as required in the New York
State Vehicle and Traffic Law of the State of New York, § 401,
and insured as required by § 312 of said law.
It shall be unlawful for any person to park
any vehicle on any private street within the confines of Whispering
Woods Manufactured Home/Land Lease Community between the hours of
1:00 a.m. and 7:00 a.m., from November 1 through April 1 of the following
year.
Signs will be purchased and installed by personnel
of Whispering Woods Manufactured Home/Land Lease Community under the
supervision of the Williamson Highway Superintendent in accordance
with the Official Compilation of the Secretary of State, State of
New York, Codes, Rules and Regulations of the State of New York, #17B,
Transportation.
Whispering Woods Manufactured Home/Land Lease Community may provide for such additional control devices under supervision of the Williamson Highway Superintendent in accordance with the Codes, Rules and Regulations noted in § 166-30. Any changes in regulations which alter this law would require submission of said change to the Williamson Town Board for their consideration and action.
A violation of § 166-27 of this article shall be subject to a penalty as provided by § 166-2 of this chapter. Any person convicted of a traffic infraction for a violation of any provision of this article which is not a violation of any provision of the Vehicle and Traffic Law of the State of New York shall be punished by a fine not to exceed $250 or by imprisonment not to exceed 15 days, or both such fine and imprisonment.
Each separate provision of this article shall
be deemed independent of all other provisions herein, and if any provisions
shall be deemed invalid, all other provisions hereof shall remain
valid and enforceable.
This article shall take effect upon its being
duly filed in the office of the Secretary of State of the State of
New York.
