No person or owner shall keep or harbor any
dog within the township which by frequent or habitual barking or howling
creates an unreasonable loud and disturbing noise of such character,
intensity or duration as to disturb the peace, quiet and good order
of the neighborhood of the township.

This article shall be enforced by action brought
before a District Justice in the same manner provided for the enforcement
of summary offenses under the Pennsylvania Rules of Criminal Procedure.
Any person who violates or permits the violation of this article shall,
upon conviction in a summary proceeding, be punishable by a fine of
not less than $100 nor more than $1,000 or by imprisonment for a term
not exceeding 90 days. Each day or portion thereof that such violation
continues or is permitted to continue shall constitute a separate
offense. Each section of this article that is violated shall also
constitute a separate offense.

It is the intent of this article to provide for the keeping
of chickens/hens and roosters. The keeping of chickens/hens and roosters
shall be for the use and enjoyment of the occupants of the property
and shall not be used for commercial purposes. This article creates
standards and requirements to insure that chickens/hens and roosters
do not adversely impact the neighborhood surrounding the property
on which the chickens/hens and roosters are kept.
Any person who shall violate any provision of this article,
upon conviction thereof in an action brought before a Magisterial
District Justice in the manner provided for the enforcement of summary
offenses under the Pennsylvania Rules of Criminal Procedure, shall
be sentenced to pay a fine of not more than $1,000 plus costs. Each
day that a violation of this article continues shall constitute a
separate offense.
