Any person or persons, firm or firms, corporation or corporations now conducting or hereafter desiring to open in the Borough of Marcus Hook a poolroom or poolrooms or bowling alley or alleys and to conduct the same shall first obtain a permit or license from the Borough Secretary and pay to the said Secretary therefor the following fees: for each and every pool table, bowling alley and shuffleboard, the sum of $10 per year.
No poolroom, bowling or shuffleboard alley shall open for business before 7:00 a.m. each day; and when open, such business shall continue to remain open until 12:00 midnight, and no such poolroom, bowling or shuffleboard alley shall be open for the transaction of business on any Sabbath day of the year.

Any person violating any of the provisions of this chapter shall, upon conviction thereof, be punishable for each offense by a fine of up to the maximum amount provided from time to time by state statute.
