No person except duly authorized agents of the
Town shall post or cause to be posted any notice or sign upon any
tree or utility pole standing in the public streets or highways of
this Town except by permission of the Town Council.
No person shall play ball by throwing or striking
a ball in any street, highway or way used by the public as a highway
of this Town.
No person shall coast or slide on a hand sled
or any similar vehicle on any of the streets of this Town.
Picket lines and picketing shall be prohibited
in front of, adjacent to, or with respect to any property used for
residential purposes, except where such picketing relates to a use
or activity being carried on within such property.

A. No person acting alone or in concert with others shall:
(1) Throw any stone or other missile or object upon or
at any person, vehicle, building, sign or other public or private
property.
(2) Roughly or forcefully crowd, jostle or push any person
in any public place.
(3) Expectorate, urinate or defecate on any public street,
alley or sidewalk or the floor of any public place or public building
or any place or building where the public has the right to gather
or to which it has access or in view of the public on any private
property.
(4) Willfully, knowingly, wantonly or recklessly make
a false alarm or cry of fire or a false request for the assistance
of any firefighting apparatus or personnel, or willfully, knowingly,
wantonly or recklessly make a false report or request for assistance
of any public or private rescue or assistance services or, similarly,
make a false cry, alarm or request for police assistance.
(5) Prowl or wander in or upon the private property of
another or, without good reason or without visible or lawful business
with the owner or occupant thereof, peek, peep or peer in any door
or window of any building or structure thereon.
(6) Yell, shout, hoot, whistle, sing or make or cause
to be made any other noise on the public streets between the hours
of 11:00 p.m. and 7:00 a.m. of the following day or of any other time
or at any place so as to annoy or disturb the quiet, comfort or repose
of any person in any hospital, dwelling, hotel or other type of residence
or of any person in the vicinity.
B. The foregoing prohibitions shall be applicable to
all persons, whether acting alone or in concert with others.
Violations of the provisions of this chapter shall be punishable as provided in Chapter
1, Article
III, of the Code of the Town of East Greenwich.
