[HISTORY: Adopted by the Board of Trustees of the Village of Depew as indicated in article histories. Amendments noted where applicable.]
[Adopted 4-1-1968]
RESOLVED, that the term of office of the Village Treasurer and Village Clerk of Depew, New York, shall be extended to the number of years of the term of office of the Mayor now in office; to wit: April 1, 1971, and that thereafter the terms of the Treasurer and Clerk of the Village of Depew shall be filled for four years, commencing at the expiration of the term of office of the Treasurer and Clerk in office at the time the resolution was adopted, and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that this resolution is subject to a permissive referendum and that the Clerk of the Village shall publish this resolution in the Depew Herald and Cheektowaga. News, the official paper used by the Village of Depew, and that said resolution shall henceforth take effect accordingly.
