No person shall fire, set off or discharge any cannon, percussion, air or other gun, pistol, rocket, fireworks, gunpowder, firecracker or other explosive in the Village of Coxsackie without first having obtained a written permit therefor from the Mayor of the Village.

Any person, firm or corporation who shall violate any of the provisions of this chapter shall, upon conviction, be punishable by a fine of not more than $250 or by imprisonment for not more than 15 days, or both.
