It shall not be lawful for any person or persons, corporation or association to put or place or cause to be placed or left or permit to remain in or upon or across any of the streets, alleys, highways, lanes, squares, sidewalks, wharves or docks in the Village of Green Island any teams, carriages, carts, sleighs, sleds, wheelbarrows, boxes, lumber, timber, firewood, car or cars, tender or engine or any other substance or materials whatsoever for a longer period than 15 minutes without permission, in writing, for that purpose first having been obtained from the Board of Trustees of said Village of Green Island.

Any person or persons, corporation or association offending against the provisions of this article shall, upon conviction thereof, be subject to a fine not to exceed $250 or to imprisonment for a term not to exceed 15 days, or both.
