Whenever it is deemed necessary for public safety, the Chief
of the Township Fire Department may require the owner of any multiple-dwelling
unit, place of public assembly, private school or college building
to designate fire zones in driveways of the premises leading to parking
areas or public streets or rights-of-way leading to the above type
of buildings and require the owner to provide, erect and maintain
metal signs at such locations. Such signs designating fire zones shall
be of a design and quality approved by the Fire Department. No person
shall at any time park a vehicle or in any other manner obstruct any
area that has been designated by the owner of the premises as a fire
zone pursuant to an order issued by the Fire Department.
