In the
event a key holder is not available and no access can be made and
there are no indications of smoke or fire, the Fire Department shall
depart the scene; and
In
the event of a response to a carbon monoxide alarm activation, the
Fire Department shall follow the procedures set out in this section
for a response to the alarm and shall when necessary make entry whether
it be forcible or nonforcible.
The
decision to make entry shall be that of the officer in charge. The
officer in charge shall make the determination based on the circumstances
presented at the site in response to said alarm. The major factor
in arriving at such consideration shall be whether there is reasonable
cause to believe that an individual may be in said structure and is
in danger.
