The purpose of this district is to allow for the expansion of the hospital and related uses such as medical offices, medical clinics, medical research, pharmacies and similar supporting uses in convenient locations adjacent to the hospital.
In the M-C Medical Center District, only the following uses are authorized:

Permitted uses.

Principal uses.
(a)
Biking/hiking trails.
(b)
Communications antenna mounted on an existing building or on an existing public utility storage or transmission structure, subject to § 220-103.
(c)
Day-care center or preschool facility.
(d)
Essential services.
(f)
Home health care agency.
(g)
Hospital.
(h)
Medical clinic.
(i)
Medical offices.
(j)
Medical research facility.
(k)
Nonprofit service organization.
(l)
Nursing home.
(m)
Personal care boarding home.
(n)
Pharmacy.
In the M-C Medical Center District, all uses shall be subject to the following regulations, except as they may be modified by the express standards and criteria for the specific uses by special exception contained in Article XIII.
