This chapter shall be known and may be cited as the "Enforcement
Officers Law of the Village of Roslyn, New York."
Notwithstanding the foregoing, any police officer of the Nassau
County Police Department shall be authorized to enforce any of the
penal provisions of this Code.
In addition to the authority granted to the Department of Building
and Code Enforcement, the Superintendent of Public Works and any of
his or her deputies or assistants shall have authority to act as enforcement
officers under any chapter or chapters which grant authority to such
officer or of any other statutes, local laws, rules or regulations
as may be assigned to said Department by the Board of Trustees.
Whenever an act or omission of any person shall constitute a
violation of more than one section of this Code, the enforcement officer
may issue an appearance ticket or take appropriate enforcement action
under and pursuant to any, some or all of such sections.
