Town of Coxsackie, NY Chapter 58 Town Board

§ 58-1 Membership; removal of Town Justices from Town Board.

Town Justices shall not be members of the Town Board of the Town of Coxsackie, and the membership of such Town Board shall consist of the Town Supervisor and four Town Councilmen, and after December 31, 1977, Town Justices shall no longer be members of the Town Board.

§ 58-2 Election of additional Councilmen.

The electors of the Town of Coxsackie shall elect at the annual Town election to be held November 8, 1977, two additional Town Councilmen in accordance with Subdivision 2 of § 60-a of the Town Law.

§ 58-3 Subject to permissive referendum.

This resolution shall be subject to a permissive referendum.[1]
