It shall be unlawful for any person to trespass upon private
property within the Village of Nissequogue or upon public property
within said Village except upon such public property as shall be specifically
designated in writing by the Trustees of said Village for use by the
public, and then only for those uses which are specifically included
in such written designation.

Camping without a permit on public or private property shall constitute a trespass within the meaning of §
90-3. Camping shall include the use of property for a period of more than 72 hours by a person other than the owner of the property for the purpose of erecting, laying out or parking in a temporary or movable shelter.

A copy of this chapter or a warning stating that camping is
prohibited without a permit shall be posted in at least five conspicuous
places. The fee for the issuance of a permit shall be $1.

Any person committing an offense against any provision of this
article shall, upon conviction thereof, be guilty of a violation pursuant
to the Penal Law of the State of New York, punishable by a fine not
exceeding $500 or by imprisonment for a term not exceeding 15 days,
or by both such fine and imprisonment. The continuation of an offense
against the provisions of this article shall constitute, for each
day the offense is continued, a separate and distinct offense hereunder.
