The Village of Nissequogue hereby grants an exemption to the
extent of 50% of the assessed valuation of real property located in
said village owned by one or more village residents 65 years of age
or over, provided that such person or persons shall meet all the requirements
of § 467 of the Real Property Tax Law of the State of New
York.[1]

Editor's Note: The maximum income for senior citizens to qualify
for exemption under the provisions of this section is set by resolution
of the Board of Trustees. On 10-16-1980, the maximum income was designated
as $9,200. Current standards are available and on file in the office
of the Village Clerk.
