This Part does not apply to any member of the Police Department
of the Borough or the Chief of Police of the Borough.

The Borough of Phoenixville hereby indemnifies and holds harmless
each elected official of the Borough and the Borough Manager and the
Borough Solicitor from any and all claims, judgments or awards of
any kind made or obtained against any such individual as a result
of the exercise by such individual of the responsibilities of Borough
office; and, the Borough of Phoenixville shall defend any such individual
from any such claim or suite.
