All streets or roads proposed to be dedicated for public use shall be designed and constructed according to the requirements presented herein. Design shall be in accordance with ASSHTO Manual "A Policy on Geometric Design of Highways and Streets" (latest revision). Paving will consist of two inches of compacted surface course of modified ID-2 bituminous wearing course installed on a bituminous cement base course (BCBC) and 2A aggregate subbase, materials and construction to be as fully described in PennDOT Form 408 (latest revision), and the shape, width, depth and geometry to conform to the Robinson Township
Standard Street Paving Detail Standard Drawing 2-1 and to a horizontal and vertical alignment as approved by the Township Engineer.
All streets or roads shall have a minimum fifty-foot-wide right-of-way. All cartways, defined as "the paved road," shall be a minimum 26 feet wide including wedge curbs as shown on the standard. Sidewalks shall be provided and constructed in accordance with Article
III of this chapter.

A. Any person violating any provision of this article shall, upon conviction
thereof, be sentenced to pay a fine of not more than $600 and costs
or, in default of payment thereof, shall be subject to imprisonment
for a term not to exceed 30 days, provided that each violation of
any provision of this article and each day the same is continued shall
be deemed a separate offense.
B. In the event of the violation of the provisions of this article by
any individual or corporation and when the Township deems it necessary
to correct any roads, streets or curbs constructed and/or installed
contrary to the provisions of this article, the Township may, at its
discretion, immediately repair or cause to be repaired or reconstructed
any road, street or curbing at the expense of the violator thereof,
and said expenses shall be collected by the Township in any suit at
law for correction of the same. In addition, the Township may institute
appropriate action at law or equity to restrain, correct or abate
threatened or continued violations of this article.
