A. 
The Town Clerk (266-5853) is responsible for maintaining a reservation system for all public areas of the Town Hall except for the courtroom. The requesting organization's or person's request should include the date, location, and start and ending times for the reservations. Regularly scheduled meetings can also be scheduled, and it is the responsibility of the organization to notify the Town Clerk of any changes in a timely manner.
B. 
The reserving organization must provide a contact person's name and telephone number, and the proper name of the organization. An alternate contact person and telephone number is required.
C. 
Except for the courtroom, the public areas of the Town Hall are not available for private use, including private parties and/or other activities held for private gain even if open to the public.
D. 
The use of alcoholic beverages, tobacco, and illegal controlled substances is prohibited in any of the public areas of the Town Hall.
E. 
Activity is restricted to the rooms and/or area for which reservation was made.
F. 
The person in charge of the activity shall be present from the beginning to the end of the permitted activity.
G. 
No smoking is allowed anywhere within the Town Hall building complex, including the steps, porches, ramps and walkways leading to the building. Cigarette butts must be disposed of in the proper receptacles.
H. 
The using organization is completely responsible for leaving the area as found: floors or areas cleaned, equipment put in its proper place, properly dispose of trash, etc.
I. 
Dispose of trash in proper receptacles. Excessive trash must be removed by the using organization or person.
J. 
Town property is not to be altered or removed from the premises.
K. 
Children must be under the control of their parent(s) or guardian(s).
L. 
Town of Clinton governmental use has priority for use of these facilities.
The following rules apply to the use of the Town Hall meeting room:
A. 
Wood floors are scratched easily so move furniture carefully and do not slide furniture across the floor.
B. 
Replace chairs against the wall in the meeting room after their use by placing them under the pictures; do not lean them on the curtains.
C. 
Do not tape or nail pictures, notices, or anything else to the walls or doors of the Town Hall. Do not move the pictures. Use appropriate bulletin boards and/or easels to display information.
D. 
Put tables and chairs back the way the you found them and clean up properly to restore the room to its initial condition.
E. 
Do not move or handle the microphones on the Town Board table without the permission of the Town Supervisor.
F. 
No food or beverage may be served or consumed in the room, with the exception of water, unless specific permission is given by the Town Supervisor to do so.
The following rules apply to the use of the VanVliet Room, including the kitchen area:
A. 
All food and beverages must be consumed only in the VanVliet Room, unless specific permission is given by the Town Supervisor to do otherwise.
B. 
Do not tape or nail pictures, notices, or anything else to the walls or doors of the VanVliet Room. Use appropriate bulletin boards and/or easels to display information.
C. 
Put tables and chairs back the way you found them and clean up properly to restore the room to its initial condition.
The following rules apply to the use of the courtroom:
A. 
The use of the courtroom must be reserved through the Town Justices (266-5988).
B. 
Private use is permitted as part of Town Justice activities, e.g., weddings, etc.
A. 
Play activities are not permitted anywhere on the Town Hall property unless part of an organized activity approved by the Town Board, including but not limited to bicycling, skateboarding, skating, snowboarding, skiing, ball playing, jumping rope, and other similar play or sport activities.
B. 
No loitering or unreserved gatherings and/or unreserved protest activities are permitted on Town Hall property.
The following rules apply to the use of parking areas:
A. 
Park in designated parking areas only.
B. 
There is limited parallel parking along the front circular driveway. Please comply with the signage.
C. 
The use of disabled parking spaces designated by the blue bumpers is limited to vehicles with disabled tags or licenses.
The following rules apply to the use of the Town Hall lawn space:
A. 
All persons must first check with Town Supervisor before placing stakes, posts, etc. deeper than one foot in the ground so as to not hit buried wires and utilities.
B. 
After activity, all involved must remove all items placed in the area and clean up trash.
