Traffic control signals shall be installed and operated at the intersection of those streets described in Schedule I (§ 208-48), attached to and made a part of this chapter.
A.
Any person shall not race, ride or drive any horse or other animal
upon any of the public streets of this City at a rate of speed greater
than 10 miles per hour.
B.
The maximum speed at which vehicles may proceed on or along any streets or highways within the City is hereby established at 30 miles per hour, except that the speed limit for vehicles proceeding on or along those streets or parts of streets described in Schedule II (§ 208-49) shall be as indicated in said schedule.
There are hereby established school speed zones within 300 feet
of all private, public and parochial schools in the City of Glens
Falls. No person shall drive a vehicle in excess of 15 miles per hour
within any designated school speed zone.
The streets or parts of streets described in Schedule III (§ 208-50), attached to and made a part of this chapter, are hereby designated as one-way streets in the direction indicated.
No person shall make a U-turn on any of the streets or parts of streets described in Schedule IV (§ 208-51), attached to and made a part of this chapter.
No person shall make a turn of the kind designated (left, right, all) at any of the locations described in Schedule V (§ 208-52), attached to and made a part of this chapter.
No person shall make a right turn when facing a steady red signal (stop indication) at any of the locations described in Schedule VI (§ 208-53), attached to and made a part of this chapter.
The intersections described in Schedule VII (§ 208-54), attached to and made a part of this chapter, are hereby designated as stop intersections. Stop signs shall be installed as provided therein.
The intersections described in Schedule VIII (§ 208-55), attached to and made a part of this chapter, are hereby designated as yield intersections. Yield signs shall be installed as provided therein.
It shall be unlawful for any person to operate any commercial vehicle or other tractor, trailer or tractor-trailer combination, having a gross weight in excess of that herein respectively prescribed, upon any of the streets or portions thereof described in Schedule IX (§ 208-56), except for the purpose of making local deliveries on that street.
The areas described in Schedule X (§ 208-57), attached to and made a part of this chapter, are hereby designated as no-passing zones, and no person shall drive a vehicle so as to pass another vehicle while in said no-passing zones.
