During periods of water shortage, the Supervisors of Kingston
Township, through their duly appointed representative, may impose
such restrictions, as in their sole discretion, may be necessary in
order to provide for a sufficient supply of water for reasons of health
and safety, upon the use of water in swimming pools, the washing of
automobiles, the use of watering devices for lawns and gardens and
other uses not directly relating to the preparation of food, household
cleaning and other domestic uses. Such regulations shall not be inconsistent
with any state law or regulation as may be necessary for the promotion
of the health, cleanliness, comfort and safety of the citizens of
the Township of Kingston.

Any person, firm or corporation who shall violate any provision
of this Part, upon conviction thereof in an action brought before
a District Justice in the manner provided for the enforcement of summary
offenses under the Pennsylvania Rules of Criminal Procedure, shall
be sentenced to pay a fine of not more than $1,000 plus costs and,
in default of payment of said fine and costs, to a term of imprisonment
not to exceed 90 days. Each day that a violation of this Part continues
or each section of this Part which shall be found to have been violated
shall constitute a separate offense.
