A. 
A fee for fire department rescue services, as described herein, shall be billed as follows:
(1) 
Light rescue: battery/vehicle power control, fluid mitigation, vehicle stabilization. This entails operations such as vehicle stabilization, use of hand tools, hazard control and other on-scene related light rescue operations: $200.
(2) 
Medium rescue: This entails operations that include the use of power tools and hydraulic rescue tools to perform activities such as opening or removing doors to provide access to patients as well as stabilizing vehicles and performing hazard assessment: $450.
(3) 
Heavy rescue: This entails operations that include any technical rescue procedures, including without limitation water and ice rescue, rope rescue, confined space rescue, high angle rescue, trench rescue or structural collapse rescue. This also includes motor vehicle rescue that requires the use of power tools and hydraulic tools to perform operations such as partial or full roof removal, front dashboard displacement, third door access and separating vehicles from one another: $800.
B. 
These charges shall be billed to the insurance company of the resident or party receiving assistance from the Pennsauken Fire Department. The rates set herein shall be reviewed annually by the Director of Public Safety, Township Administrator, EMS Chief and Fire Chief. The Director of Public Safety in conclusion with the Township Administrator may thereafter recommend to the Township Committee that the rate schedule be altered by resolution of the Township Committee to reflect the appropriate increase or decrease.
